Event Recap: Third Annual RegSci Doctoral Student Symposium
On February 9th, we hosted our third annual Regulatory Science Doctoral Student Symposium! Since this year’s event was virtual, we had a small group that allowed for a very focused and interactive day. Trainees from across disciplines received excellent feedback from faculty mentors Ariel Stern, Florence Bourgeois, Mark Namchuk, Frank David, and Ameet Sarpatwari. See a list of presenters and topics below:
- Distributed Learning for Causal Inference Using Electronic Health Records (Larry Han)
- Predictors of Completed Confirmatory Trials (Mahnum Shahzad)
- Compliance with Public Disclosure of Expanded Access Policy (Sukhun Kang)
- Research-focused Rare Disease Foundations: Accelerating Therapeutic Development (Caroline Marra)
