The first laws to increase pediatric drug development in the US were passed over 20 years ago, but rates of off-label drug use remain high in children. In this piece, CRS Co-Director Florence Bourgeois and CRS faculty member Aaron Kesselheim review the outcomes of pediatric legislations and determine what future efforts might be needed to promote the availability of prescribing information for children.
